About this event
Boston Armizare, a historical fencing club based in Brighton, will be giving a lecture and demonstration on the techniques used in medieval and renaissance duels. Attendees will learn about the social context surrounding duelling and the manuals duelists would use to prepare themselves for a fight (potentially) to the death, and will also witness live fights with the longsword, rapier and dagger, and sword and buckler.
