October 7: Pan’s Labyrinth (2006) R 119m (Spanish) Set in Spain during World War II a young girl obsessed with fairy tales uses this to escape the cruelty of her stepfather. October 14: The Curse of La Llorona (2019) R 93m A social worker and her children must survive on the fringes of fear in this eerie film based on the Mexican folklore.
