About this event
Celebrate the season of light by making an akash kandil, or paper lantern. Hung outside homes during the festival of Diwali, these 'sky lamps' signify the triumph of light over darkness. In this program you will learn about the celebration of Diwali and make a lantern of your own. Adults. Registration is required.
