Herrick District Library Film Jam

About this event

Welcome to the second annual Herrick District Library Film Jam! Gather your crew (3–5 people) and join us for a filmmaking challenge! You'll have just four hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film based on a mystery theme revealed at the start of the event. Then we’ll screen everyone’s films, vote, and crown a winner! With over $100 of prizes on the line you won't want to miss this! All experience levels are welcome. Participants may bring their own computers or may use some of the provided laptops and software but do be warned that laptops and software are limited. Participants should bring their phones and chargers as we will have options as filming will be done using participant mobile devices. We have five laptops available with Blender installed on all of them. Use of generative AI is not allowed. All participants must be 13 years or older, participants under 18 must have an adult with them.
