Herbal Honey Workshop with Lauren Snyder

Herbal honeys have a long history as a sweet and delightful way to bring herbal wellness into your life. Join local herbalist, Lauren Snyder for a workshop all about how to make and enjoy herbal honey. We'll cover some of the herbs that pair well with honey, how to prepare an herb infused honey, and ways to utilize this herbal creation in your own wellness practices. Participants will have the opportunity to not only taste test some herbal honeys, but also blend their own custom herbal honey to take home with them. All materials are included. Lauren is a queer herbalist, botanical artisan, and local plant walk guide. The third generation of their family to live in Ojai, Lauren has always been inspired by and deeply connected to the plants of the Ojai valley and beyond. Lauren founded Thimble and Seed, a small local business that offers Botanical Art, Handcrafted herbal products, and Educational workshops to help people reconnect with nature by way of plant-based wisdom and whimsy.
