Her Next Move: Navigating Change, Creating Opportunity

Across New York City, thousands of women are confronting layoffs, workplace disruption, and growing uncertainty about what comes next. Her Next Move is a timely career and economic mobility experience designed to help women move from disruption to direction—whether that means repositioning their professional experience, entering a growing industry, or exploring entrepreneurship. Presented by the Brooklyn Women’s Business Center at The Local Development Corporation of East NY (LDCENY) in partnership with Brooklyn Public Library’s Business & Career Center, this interactive event will bring together career professionals, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and women who have successfully navigated major professional transitions. Participants will gain practical guidance, hear honest stories of reinvention, explore opportunities in entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and the green economy, and build connections that can support their next move. Whether rebuilding after a layoff, considering a career pivot, or ready to create a new opportunity, participants will leave with greater clarity, useful resources, and actionable next steps. ************************************************************************* Brooklyn Women's Business Center (BWBC) Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
