About this event

Come see Dr. Adina Silvestri, author of Writing Through Grief and Loss: An IFS Journal for Healing. This year-long guided journal is organized around seasons of grief and renewal. Through expressive writing prompts and Internal Family Systems (IFS) meditations, it offers readers a compassionate, flexible way to explore loss, strengthen self-understanding, and move towards healing at their own pace. Adina Silvestri, EdD, LPC, is a Richmond-based licensed professional counselor, author, and therapeutic-writing facilitator. Through her private practice and Writing Bravely™ programs, she helps people use expressive writing and experiential practices to navigate grief, reconnect with themselves, and create meaning from difficult life experiences. Read, discuss, and connect with other writers and readers in our community. Local authors sign up and share their books. Visit henricolibrary.org/authors for details. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The Henrico Community Authors Showcase is a self-service program for local authors. Please note that the Library does not endorse the content, quality, position, or opinions of participating authors or their works. While the library may promote the offering of this service to the community, it is the responsibility of authors to promote their individual showcase events according to the author guidelines.
