Come see Orran Brown, Jr., and Carly Brown Buxton, children's book authors of Ogre Andy. This rhyming picture book about a kind-hearted ogre encourages children to embrace what makes them unique while enjoying the humor and vibrant illustrations of his delightfully chaotic food order at a local restaurant. Orran and Carly are a sibling duo who have been creating stories together since childhood. Orran, a lawyer and father of three, draws inspiration from years of entertaining his own children with imaginative tales. Carly, a mother of two with a background in research and nonfiction writing, brings structure and rhythm to their collaborative verse. Together they create playful, character-driven stories that celebrate creativity and individuality. Read, discuss, and connect with other writers and readers in our community.
