About this event
Family Promise is a national organization with a network of affiliates in over 200 locations across the US. The vision is to end family homelessness. It launched in Lawrence in 2008 and supports homeless families with eviction prevention, diversion from Shelter, Shelter, Stabilization and Housing. The key to their success in all these endeavors is strong community connection and providing exceptional support, compassion, and the chance to create a better future for families who enroll in the program. We'll hear from KJ Abel Ruch, volunteer manager. She'll share the many ways you can help this dynamic organization improve life in Lawrence one family at a time.
