Hey All, Harlem Rhapsody by Victoria Christopher Murray is a historical fiction that explores the life of Jessie Redmon Fauset and her affair with W.E.B. Du Bois during the Harlem Renaissance. Historical fiction and romance are my favorite genres so I am excited to discuss this one with the group! Also for those who missed our last meeting, we will allocate some time during this meeting to discuss our last book, Do What Godmother Says by L. S. Stratton. We really enjoyed the good discussion this book generated and we want to give everyone an opportunity to share their perspectives. I hope to see everyone there!
