About this event
Double Room (114 115). Learn how to quilt a custom "Mug Rug" with fiber artist Haley Geier! This class will teach students the basics of quilting and how to make a "half-square triangle", a basic quilt block. From these plocks, students will sew together their quilt sandwich and leave with one or two completed Mug Rugs, as well as inspiration for the start of their own quilt. This class will require use of a sewing machine. Several sewing machines will be provided for participants to share, but feel free to bring your own if you're able.
