Halloween, Houdini, and The Haunting Unknown

Lang Auditorium. Halloween is the one day of the year when the veil between the known and the unknown seems just a little thinner. But what happens when the conversation turns to spirits, the afterlife, and a man who spent his life challenging the impossible? Join magician and mentalist Greg Dwyer for a spellbinding journey into the history of Halloween, the fascinating world of legendary escape artist Harry Houdini, and his lifelong quest to uncover the truth about life after death. At precisely 1:26 p.m.—the time of Houdini's death 100 years ago—Greg Dwyer will conclude the program with a Halloween séance. Will the past remain silent? Will the unexplained become a little less mysterious? Or will you leave with more questions than answers? One legendary magician. One enduring mystery. One Halloween you won't forget.
