Hadestown: Teen Edition

Step into the world of myth, music, and modern storytelling in this two-week performance academy—part of the RedEd Performance Series. In Hadestown: Teen Edition, young artists will audition, rehearse, and perform a fully staged production of the acclaimed musical, guided by a professional team of experienced directors, choreographers, music directors, and stage managers. Designed specifically for older performers, this academy challenges students to dive deeply into character work, ensemble storytelling, and the emotional weight of the show’s themes. Along the way, they’ll strengthen their vocal technique, refine their movement skills, and learn the discipline required to bring a complex, contemporary musical to life.
