GUNPLA Builders Day

1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Join MoMI for our second annual GUNPLA Builders Day! Build model kits inspired by Mobile Suit Gundam, Pokémon, One Piece, and other favorite series. Whether you’re a first-time builder or a longtime hobbyist, join one of three separate 75-minute build sessions guided by MoMI staff, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Table space is free with RSVP and is first-come, first-served. Sessions are open to ages 8–12 with adult supervision, and ages 13+ on their own. MoMI is excited to once again partner with Gundam Planet, one of the region’s premier model kit retailers. Their pop-up shop will feature a selection of beginner and intermediate kits, plus tools and supplies. Come build, learn, and celebrate a hobby enjoyed by fans around the world. What is your most exciting build? Whatever you’re creating – straight build, painted, or fully kit-based, send us a photo of your most intriguing build of the year. Selected works will featured on a monitor during the event. Deadline for submission is November 25. If selected, you will be notified by December 3. Click here to submit your photo of your build. Running out of shelf space? Consider contributing to our Kit Bash Bin! Find spare parts to build the custom suit of your dreams, or just to practice your model customization. Whole kits, parts, and unfinished projects are all welcome (please bag projects separately). All visitors are welcome to shop Gundam Planet’s booth, and photograph your builds on our green screen set in the Builders’ Lounge in our Fox Amphitheater.
