About this event
Blend history and nature during this guided stroll. Delve into the lives of Hoosiers from the 1800s and 1900s who made impacts in the fields of nature, science, art, botany, archaeology, and more. Audience: We welcome anyone who enjoys spending time in nature and learning history. All ages are welcome! Access considerations: This out-and-back nature walk takes place along a wide, flat, paved trail, with an option to travel on crushed stone and/or grass surfaces depending on the access needs of the group. The start and end of the nature walk includes a 0.10 mile hill in the shade. Meet your guide in the Ricker Prairie Overlook. This is a rain or shine program; please dress accordingly and bring comfort items as needed (i.e. sunblock, hat, water).
