Guided Nature Walks: Conner Prairie Gardens, Learning about dye plants

About this event

Plants provide beautiful colors dyes for textiles. Explore plants in the Loom House garden, and try your hand at a dying activity. Audience: We welcome everyone who enjoys plants, gardens, and is curious to learn more. All ages are welcome! Access Considerations: Meet your guide for this program near the tram turnaround behind the Museum Experience Center. This stroll will take place on a wide, crushed gravel trail through Prairietown. Benches are available along the way near Lenape Indian Camp, the Conner House, Animal Encounters, and within Prairietown. This is a rain-or-shine program; please dress accordingly and bring comfort items as needed (e.g., sunscreen, hat, water). Restrooms are available in the Museum Experience Center and include accessible stalls.
