Guided hike at Salt Bay Farm Preserve

Rolling fields, forest, and marsh Celebrate National Take a Hike Day with us! Join naturalist Sarah Gladu at Salt Bay Farm Preserve in Damariscotta for a stroll through rolling fields and along the shores of Great Salt Bay to visit ancient middens. We may witness late migratory birds in route to southern habitat, and visit the salt marsh in hopes of seeing signs of mink and other wildlife. There may be some muddy spots, so wear appropriate shoes or boots. We love dogs, but ask that you leave them at home for this guided hike.
