Growing Down: Curious Krewe - October 2026 Gathering

This is the Curious Krewe's main monthly gathering...the one built around a single honest question that we sit with together. It tends to go a little deeper than most conversations you'll have this week. People share real things here. That's what makes it worth showing up to. This month, we're getting curious about the joys we found our way back to: "What's something you loved doing as a kid that you've let yourself do again as an adult?" Maybe it's drawing, or climbing trees, or riding a bike with nowhere in particular to go. Maybe it's building something with your hands, reading past bedtime, or singing loud in the car. Maybe it took you years to pick it back up... or maybe you're still waiting to give yourself permission. Bring whatever you've got... something you've reclaimed, something you miss, or just a memory of what used to make you lose track of time. Let's be curious, together! We hold that space together through what we call the Curious Code: Respect beats being right … always Make room for fun … it helps us connect Listen first ... more than you talk Respond with curiosity … questions before comments Gather the good … share what you learned Here's how the evening flows: Doors open at 6:00 pm... plenty of time to grab food and a drink, find a seat, and settle in. At 6:30 pm we move into the discussion. You'll sit at a table with a small group... no more than six people... and together you'll explore the question of the evening. Everyone is welcome to share as much or as little as feels right. No pressure to perform or have it all figured out. Curious questions and honest listening are the whole game. We wrap up around 8 pm with a few closing words and a look ahead to the next gathering. Want to keep talking? Stay as long as you like. NEW LOCATION: NOLA Brewery* Food? (Menu) Drink?…
