Ever wonder what plants are thriving in the Edible Garden at Bok Tower Gardens? Join Lead Gardener Terance Robinson for a walking tour of the Outdoor Kitchen Garden. During this beginner-friendly tour, participants will explore the basics of growing edible plants in Florida, including how to select plants for the garden, when different crops grow best throughout the seasons, and how herbs, vegetables, and other edible plants can be used in the kitchen. Along the way, Terance will share practical tips and examples from the Outdoor Kitchen Garden to help participants feel more confident choosing and growing edible plants at home. No previous gardening experience is necessary. This tour is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about edible gardening and make the most of Florida’s unique growing seasons. Event Date & Time Wednesday, October 14, 2026 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Location Outdoor Kitchen and Edible Garden Price $5 members/ $27 non-members Registration required – click to register Class Registration, Refund, and Exchange Policy Bok Tower Gardens requires registration for all classes. Payment is due at the time of registration. Before the class: If a participant needs to cancel, requests for refunds or exchanges must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time. Approved cancellations made within this timeframe may receive a refund or credit toward a future class. Cancellations made after this deadline are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. Please note: Some classes may be designated as nonrefundable due to the cost of materials or supplies. These classes will be identified in the description at the time of registration. After the class: Once a class has taken place, no refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued, regardless of attendance or participation.
