About this event

Time: 3:00 - 4:00 PM and 4:00 - 5:00 PM (two sessions) Cap: Maximum of 15 people per session Location: Kamalaʻulahiwa Free with Museum Admission Join Protect & Preserve Hawaiʻi for a hands-on workshop exploring the incredible world of Hawaiʻi's native plants. Designed for teens, this interactive experience will teach participants how to identify native species, discover why they are essential to healthy ecosystems, and practice plant propagation techniques to grow their own. Put your new knowledge to the test in a fun interactive game, then take home a native plant that you propagated yourself. This workshop is part of Bishop Museum’s aina based community experiences, to educate and connect the public with our aina in the museum’s open air learning spaces.
