Greensky Bluegrass: Summer Tour 2026 at Clyde Theatre in Fort Wayne, IN on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Greensky Bluegrass performing live.
A string band with a big, expansive sound, Michigan’s Greensky Bluegrass are widely known for their dazzling live performances and relentless touring schedule. Formed in the fall of 2000 by guitarist Dave Bruzza, mandolinist Paul Hoffman, and banjo player Michael Arlen Bont, the band has since added Mike Devol on bass and Anders Beck on Dobro, completing their long-standing lineup. Approaching classic Americana styles with an exploratory, progressive spirit, the band members claim to have come to bluegrass through the back door, citing rock influences as their gateway into more traditional acoustic styles. Through chart-toppers like “If Sorrows Swim” and “Shouted,” Greensky Bluegrass continues to fuse the energy of rock with the earthy spirit of string music. Paul Hoffman says, “We aren’t a band all for money. We did it for romantic reasons such as love, catharsis, and because it mattered to us and the listeners. We love what we do, and we’re grateful for the love we receive in return from the people listening.”
