Green Day vs. Nirvana

Camp Description Nirvana and Green Day are among the most popular and influential bands of the 90s and early 2000s. Green Day's fun, high-energy punk is the perfect contrast to Nirvana, the kings of grunge. This 5-day music camp will explore hits from Green Day's most popular albums, such as “Dookie,” “Warning,” and “American Idiot”, as well as Nirvana's best songs, such as “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, “Come As You Are”, and “In Bloom.” Students will then put on a live performance at the end of the week. Great for students aged 10 to 18 with some previous instruction. WEEKLY SCHEDULE Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week! WHAT TO EXPECT Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection. At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp. Cancellation Policy A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
