About this event
Community Room. Discover the rich flavors and cultural heritage of traditional Latin American cuisine in this engaging cooking program focused on the art of making tamales, Chef Violeta Trujeque, founder of Violet Velvet Cooking Classes, will teach you to prepare masa from scratch, to soften corn husks, to make a green salsa, and to fill and wrap tamales. Samples will be provided. This program was made possible by the generosity of the Friends of the Berwyn Public Library.
