Great Basin Group Holiday Party

Come join the Great Basin Group in celebrating the Holiday Season at the Bartley Western Heritage Center at Bartely Ranch. This fun event starts at 5:30 pm with a half-hour to socialize and listen to live music presented by Rob and Suzy Schamburg. They will play background music using their guitar and violin. Please feel free to bring a guest or family members. The Giving Tree will be set up for donations for our Get-Kids-Outdoors campaign, and a slide show with photos from Outings, planting native plants, and other events from 2026 will be playing throughout the party. We plan to enjoy a potluck dinner starting at 6:00 pm, so bring your favorite dish to share with your Sierra Club friends. The Great Basin Group will provide ham, sparkling water, chocolate cake, and holiday napkins. Please bring your own plates and utensils to in order to decrease waste. Around 7:00 pm the Tin Cup Award will be given to an outstanding Sierra Club member and then we will have voluntary sing-along music, both environmental and holiday, until 7:30. After 7:30 we need to begin cleaning up. If you would like to help with set-up, please come at 5:00. We need help with setting up tables, chairs, and decorations.
