As we commemorate the earthly death of our Lord, join the Basilica today to pray the Stations of the Cross, seek the Lord’s mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, venerate the relics of Christ’s Passion, listen to meditations on the Passion, and partake in the solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion. Time: Location and additional information: 2:00 p.m. Great Upper Church Choral Meditations on the Passion Join the Basilica Choir in a Choral Prelude to the Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion. Time: Location and additional information: 2:30 p.m.* Great Upper Church Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion On this most sorrowful day of the Paschal Triduum, the faithful gather to commemorate the earthly death of our Lord.
