Going for Two

“Set in the fall of 1983, the story follows a fatherless 12-year-old boy named Jimmy Moriarty who faces a personal challenge. With no father to guide him, Jimmy and his tomboy best friend Frankie launch a series of hilarious and desperate schemes to raise money and solve the problem. While their beloved Nebraska Cornhuskers chase a national championship under legendary coach Tom Osborne—whom Jimmy adopts as a distant mentor—Jimmy learns core lessons about friendship, courage, integrity, and growing up.”
