Glass: “Fused Glass Ornaments”

Deadline to Register: November 21st at 5:00pm Title: Glass: “Fused Glass Ornaments” Description: Join us for a fun Holiday Glass Fusing project! In this class we will be making four glass ornaments for the upcoming holiday season. Your instructor will walk you through each step, giving you tricks and tips on how to use the glass fusing materials and tools along the way. Once completed the projects will be fired and ready for pick up one week after the class. Instructor: Cate Woodall is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a visual arts degree specializing in ceramics. She has taught hand-building clay and pottery painting classes as well as glass fusing for several years. She enjoys helping people find a stress free outlet for their creativity. Supplies and Attire: All materials and supplies will be provided. Time: Saturday, November 28th, 2026 (1:00pm-4:00pm): Tuition: $50.00 Supply Fee: $20.00 Level: Beginner ~~~~~~ Important Information: Registering for a workshop indicates that the student is 19 years of age or older and understands that photographs/video may be taken during the event and their image may be used on Burritt on the Mountain’s website and social media outlets or other promotional materials. Registration also indicates that the student releases Burritt on the Mountain and the City of Huntsville, all their directors, employees, volunteers, and any persons associated with Burritt on the Mountain, from any liability for any bodily injury and/or property damage suffered by the attendee as a result of activities during the educational program. Cancellation Policy: Our workshops take a great deal of advanced planning and purchasing of supplies. 25% of all ticket purchases are a non-refundable deposit. Students cancelling 30 days or more prior to the date of the class will be eligible for a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
