Badge Workshops for Daisies through Juniors The Lancaster Science Factory is pleased to offer an expanded menu of Girl Scout workshops designed to educate, challenge, and empower scouts while completing badge requirements. Workshops are 1 hour unless otherwise noted. Register a single scout or the whole troop for upcoming workshops listed below. Mechanical Engineering Badge Workshops Our hands-on Mechanical Engineering badge workshops cover the following badges: Daisies Mechanical Engineering Badge 1: Board Game Design Brownies Mechanical Engineering Badge 3: Race Car Design Juniors Mechanical Engineering Badge 2: Balloon Car Design Mechanical Engineering workshops will be offered on the following dates: Saturday, November 14, 2026 –Daisies from 12:30-1:30 pm (register here) –Brownies from 2-3 pm (register here) –Juniors from 3:30-4:30 pm (register here) Saturday, January 16, 2027 –Daisies from 12:30-1:30 pm (register here) –Brownies from 2-3 pm (register here) –Juniors from 3:30-4:30 pm (register here) Saturday, February 27, 2027 –Daisies from 12:30-1:30 pm (register here) –Brownies from 2-3 pm (register here) –Juniors from 3:30-4:30 pm (register here) Can’t make it to a scheduled workshop? Reach out to Megan Stoltzfus at mstoltzfus@tlsf.org to schedule a private workshop. Availability is limited for private workshops, so we recommend scheduling ahead by a minimum of 1-2 months if possible. Program attendance, cancellation, and refund policy. Cancellations (by the registrant) received less than one week prior to the workshop will be subject to a refund of 1/2 of the total registration cost for that workshop. Cancellations received prior to that shall receive a full refund. Workshops canceled by the Lancaster Science Factory for ANY reason will be refunded fully.
