Join us at the Floyd Country Store on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 7:00 pm for Gingerbread Basics Class with Shelley Clark. Event fee: Candy! Bring candy suitable for a gingerbread house (CANDY SWAP). Ziploc bags will be provided. All ages welcome; children attending must be accompanied by an adult. Shelley’s first gingerbread house was over 30 years ago when the family attempted a gingerbread replica of their home! Since then, there have been several winning entries in the Salem & Floyd gingerbread contests. “Gingerbread Symphony” 2013 was featured in both Roanoke & Richmond newspapers. Step into the sweet world of the holiday Gingerbread Making Class, where you will learn basic recipes.
