Gill Aharon Trio

About this event

Double-click to edit... $10 admission / 8:15 start / 8pm doors / Seated Show Inspired by the cartoon music of the 50s and 60s, the drive of Led Zeppelin, the genius and humor of Frank Zappa, the perfection of Bach, the relentlessness of Ligeti, the courage of Medeski, Martin and Wood, the jam of Phish live, the beauty of the Beatles and the immersive nature of music, I am in pursuit of truth through music. “Sometimes I think of us musicians as kids playing in order to learn how to be adults, but we can just keep playing. The game of playing music together is too much fun to make it work. With that in mind, I refuse to write arrangements. I never want my friends and bandmates to feel obliged to do anything. - Gill Aharon Gill Aharon, Piano Jef Charland, Bass Andrew Stern, Guitar Randy Wooten, Drums - Continuing Every Wednesday Lineup subject to change gillaharontrio.com
