Ghost in the Cell

The walls are closing in with Ghost in the Cell, the wild new Indonesian horror film from acclaimed filmmaker Joko Anwar (Satan’s Slaves, Impetigore)! Inside a brutal high-security prison ruled by rival gangs and corrupt guards, a series of gruesome murders begins leaving inmates dead in increasingly horrific…and impossible…ways. When it becomes clear that an invisible supernatural force is stalking the prison, enemies are forced to put aside their differences and work together to figure out what is killing them before they’re next. Mixing supernatural horror with prison drama and adding in absolutely outrageous gore, Ghost in the Cell is the latest genre free-for-all from one of Indonesia’s most exciting filmmakers.
