About this event
Mary Baldwin Room, Main Level. This presentation will guide participants through the essential steps of end-of-life planning using the comforting analogy of “Getting Your House in Order.” Learn practical strategies for organizing important documents, making key decisions, and ensuring your wishes are honored. No matter where you are in the process, this discussion will provide clarity and actionable steps to help you, and your family prepare with confidence. About the Connecticut Death Collective: The Connecticut Death Collective was founded at the beginning of 2022 by Celine Currier, Jackie Genovese, & Becca Ainley, to build community, encourage open conversation about death and dying, and increase awareness about death care, home funerals, and green burial options in Connecticut. Our mission is to cultivate an open and supportive community where people can gather and speak freely about one of the most universal experiences in life—death. Through a variety of monthly in-person and virtual events, we aim to provide death workers, the death curious, and anyone in between a compassionate space to connect, share, listen, and learn through insightful discussions on mortality. Thank you to the Friends of the Cheshire Public Library for sponsoring this program!
