Get to know the guitar with Mr. Taylor and Ms. Jess! Guitars are an easy-to-learn stringed instrument that can accompany any genre of song being sung. Guitars will be available to use during this introductory group learning experience, and children are also welcome to bring their own guitar. For children Grades 3-5. Registration required. During the program, kids will learn how to: Identify parts of the guitar Hold the guitar Tune the guitar Read a chord chart Play chords Play a song on the guitar The City of Evanston is committed to promoting a Citywide culture of accessibility and inclusivity.
