OUR UPCOMING GUEST SPEAKER AND TOPIC: **Get Smart About Networking** **with: Cherie Anderson** Your next job will probably come from someone you know. 85% of positions are filled through professional or personal connections. (LinkedIn) You know networking's important, but do you know how? Join us for "Get Smart about Networking." This interactive session will help you identify people to contact and, once you do, how to reach out effectively. You'll leave with a plan built on industry-leading strategies to get you to the right people, in the right ways, to land the job you want. **Cherie Anderson** is a Learning & Development professional with over 15 years of experience helping audiences of all ages and backgrounds get the tools and motivation they need to succeed in their profession. She's the CEO of Dream Lab. Before that, she worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cray, Inc., Ameriprise Financial, American Express, and a whole bunch of nonprofits and startups. Although she's had a lot of great experiences, the most important thing you should know about her is that she's been in the same position you're in right now. She's been through job transition, and with the help of organizations like Crossroads, she's always found herself in a better position than the one she left.
