Join SHIBA1 for a class on Medicare Open Enrollment. The Open Enrollment Period is from October 15th-December 7th. Topics covered include: *Medicare changes for 2027 *Original Medicare and Advantage plan choices *Stand-alone Medicare Part D Rx plans and how to find the best one *Changes you can make during Open Enrollment Registration required. Call SHIBA at Island Senior Resources to reserve a spot: 360-321-1600 Last year SHIBA volunteers helped hundreds of Whidbey Island residents better understand Medicare options, select ones best suited to their unique needs and find Rx coverage at the lowest cost. SHIBA1 (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) is a consumer information and protection program sponsored by the WA State Office of the Insurance Commissioner and Island Senior Resources. It offers free, unbiased, and confidential help with Medicare. SHIBA is a community service and no products are sold.
