GEORGE CHAKIRIS & CAROL LAWRENCE REMEMBER WEST SIDE STORY An Evening of Memories, Song & Celebration Somewhere, there's a place where Broadway and Hollywood history come together - and on November 21st, that place is Palm Springs. Academy Award-winner GEORGE CHAKIRIS, the films unforgettable Bernardo, and Tony-nominee CAROL LAWRENCE, Broadway's original Maria, unite for one extraordinary evening celebrating West Side Story. The two legends share intimate stories, never-before-seen clips, and behind-the-scenes memories from the making of an American masterpiece - from Jerome Robbins' rehearsal rooms to the film shoot that captured lightning on celluloid. Interwoven throughout the evening, special guest vocalists - with Musical Director ADAM McDONALD (Wicked) at the piano - perform selections from the Bernstein & Sondheim score, including "Tonight," "Maria," "Somewhere," and "America." Presented by Alan Eichler and Chris Isaacson. Special guest vocalists to be announced.
