We'll be glad to meet you! \*\*\*\* It can be hard to make new friends once you're out of school. We’re trying to make it easier and a lot more fun! Our speed friending event geared toward people in their 40s & 50s is a great way to meet new people and have fun! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE IN YOUR 40s OR 50s - WE'RE INCLUSIVE! Speed friending is just like speed dating (but completely different). You’ll have a series of short, relaxed conversations with different people, with (often offbeat) questions or conversation starters to keep things lively. Afterward, there’s time to hang out, have a drink or a bite to eat, and continue talking with people you connected with. We're starting out at Tap Union Freehouse in downtown Vancouver WA. Come by yourself (if you like). In fact, that’s exactly what this is designed for! You don’t need to be especially outgoing, and you don’t need to already know anyone. If you prefer, bring your partner or friends! We love having couples and friends groups here too! The goal is simple: get people off their phones, talking face-to-face, laughing, and hopefully leaving with a few new people they’d genuinely like to see again. This is a friendship and social group, not a dating group. Drinking is never the point, and alcohol is completely optional. Because many events will be held at pubs, some individual events may be limited to ages 21+. This group is geared toward adults. Any participants under the age of 18 would have to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and would have to join us on an occasion when the venue allows minors. Join us and meet some new people!
