About this event
Reuling Room. Girls, grades 4-7. This chemistry based program will be presented by Andrea Kellington, AAUW volunteer. Participants will create fake snow that resembles real snow, emphasizing chemical reactions and material properties. GEMS: (Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science) This monthly program is designed for girls in grades 4-7 to explore topics and careers in math, science, art, technology, and engineering using hands-on activities and experiments. GEMS programming is sponsored by AAUW (American Association of University Women) of Morton in partnership with Morton Library. Registration information is shared with AAUW.
