About this event

Reuling Room. Girls, Grades 4-7. GEMS: (Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science) Ever wonder how complex parts can be built layer by layer? Join Lauren Devall and other volunteers from the Society of Women Engineers, to learn the fundamentals of additive manufacturing and to see how 3D printing is reshaping the future of manufacturing. Participants will create a keychain to take home using 3D pens. This monthly program is designed for girls in grades 4-7 to explore topics and careers in math, science, art, technology, and engineering using hands-on activities and experiments. This month's program description to come. GEMS programming is sponsored by AAUW (American Association of University Women) of Morton in partnership with Morton Library. Registration Required.
