Garden University: Ceramic Leaves

Artist Heather Skinner is coming to guide you through turning clay into beautiful leaves! We will be taking leaves from the garden to use as imprints into our clay pieces where you can make dishes, ornaments, and more. All materials will be provided. The Oregon Garden, a serene and picturesque setting, is the venue for our event. As you immerse yourself in the art of ceramics, let the peaceful ambiance of the gardens enhance your creativity and provide a calming effect. This venue is sure to leave you with an enriching and memorable experience. This event is perfect for both beginners and advanced ceramic enthusiasts. Whether you’re someone looking to try something new or an experienced artist seeking to refine your skills and meet fellow artists, this workshop is designed to cater to everyone’s needs. So, join us for a day of creativity and fun at The Oregon Garden! __ This workshop will be split into two sessions: Building the leaves, Sept. 13, 11am-1pm Glazing the leaves, Sept. 20, 11am-1pm Purchase tickets HERE. __ The Purchase of a ticket includes Garden admission! Walk around the Garden and observe Garden leaves as inspiration. The Oregon Garden’s Garden University program offers ongoing education opportunities on topics in alignment with the Garden’s mission, such as pruning, beekeeping, cooking, floristry and more.
