Along the way you’ll see vibrant garden paths, shaded streets and homes ranging from classic Craftsman bungalows to striking mid-century modern designs. Led by local guides, this easy-to-moderate small-group urban walk covers about three miles of mostly flat terrain, perfect for curious visitors and design lovers alike. The tour begins at the Palisades Park Rose Garden and reveals a side of Santa Monica most visitors never see. Comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and water are recommended, and participants will finish with a fresh perspective on Santa Monica’s natural beauty and built environment.
