Join MSV Curator of Collections Nick Powers to learn about the life of Sarah Strother in the exhibition Revolutionary Valley. Enslaved by the Wood family of Glen Burnie in the late 1700s and early 1800s, Strother turned to the courts to fight for her liberty when her legal right to freedom was challenged.
