## EarthCare Full Moon Ceremony — August Sturgeon Moon Join us beneath the August Sturgeon Moon as we gather outdoors under the tall trees, in sacred circle around the ceremonial fire, for an evening of community, drumming, reflection, gratitude, and renewal. The Sturgeon Moon carries the spirit of **abundance, perseverance, and ancient wisdom**. Named for the great sturgeon that once filled the waters in abundance at this time of year, it invites us to recognize what has ripened in our own lives, give thanks for the gifts we have received, and honor the strength and wisdom that carry us through life’s changing currents. We gather in the peaceful wooded area at the back of the Unity North Atlanta property, behind the organic garden. There, around the fire and beneath the open sky, we step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with the Earth, one another, and the sacred mystery of life. No previous experience or particular spiritual belief is needed. People of every spiritual path—and those who are simply curious—are warmly welcome. Participation is always by invitation, never obligation. You are welcome to drum, move, share, listen quietly, or simply be present. We also want to offer a special thank you for the regular contributions of **Lorelei Robbins, astrologer; the Dances of Universal Peace; the Scallywag Drummers; our guest musicians; and the many other Circle Keepers** whose unique gifts help weave the circle, hold sacred space, and enrich our gatherings.
