From Idea to Demo: A Songwriting Intensive & Song Showcase (Day 2 - Recording Workshop)

Day 2 - Recording Session Join us for a hands-on, collaborative songwriting workshop designed for all skill levels, led by Iomipo, an indie-pop duo and songwriting/production house based between NYC and LA. Over three sessions, you will dive into the art of songwriting, collaborate in small groups, and showcase your music in a warm, encouraging environment! Day 1 & Day 2 - Songwriting & Recording Workshops: Work in small groups to write an original song from scratch and learn tools to capture your ideas as a simple demo using GarageBand or Logic Pro X. All participants who attend both sessions will receive notebook and pen gifts to keep your creative ideas flowing! Day 3 - Song Showcase & Community Celebration Gathering: An open studio session celebrating everyone's original music! Day 3 is open to everyone who wishes to come share their songs, listen, and participate. Primary Goals of the Songwriting Intensive: Give participants tools to write their own songs and capture those ideas as basic demos (vocal + guitar/piano or vocals over a song-starter/beat). Move from a rough spark to a structured, recordable idea in a collaborative setting. No prior experience is required -- just curiosity and a love of music. If you already write songs, you're welcome to join to refine your process, co-write with others, and share your work.
