About this event
The conversation most engineering leaders are having about AI is too narrow. They are asking “how do we get developers using Copilot?” when the question they should be asking is “what does our developer platform need to look like when agents become active contributors in the delivery lifecycle?” GitHub Copilot supports agentic code generation through its IDE, CLI, and cloud agents; automated pull-request review through Copilot code review; and agentic automation in CI/CD through GitHub Agentic Workflows or Copilot CLI in GitHub Actions. The next 18 months move AI-assisted development from pair programmer to active contributor: planning work, modifying code, opening pull requests, running validation, and helping teams move faster through governed delivery paths. Most enterprise developer platforms are not built for that. The secrets management was not designed for a non-human actor. The secure development controls were built assuming a human reads every file before it ships. The GitHub org configuration assumes a developer pushes a commit and waits. Improving has been in this space. Our GitHub Copilot deployments and DLP engagements have shown what enterprises miss when they deploy Copilot as autocomplete rather than as the first layer of an agentic platform. This month, we bring that conversation to the market. We'll meet at the [Improving Training Center](https://www.improving.com/locations/cleveland/) in Independence, right off of I-77/Rockside Rd **\#\# About the Speaker** ## **Bill Curry** - **Improving** **VP of Consulting**: Bill has deep experience leading large, diverse teams to deliver mission critical solutions for a wide range of customers. In deploying these solutions, he regularly bridges the gap between the development teams, the operational teams and the security teams. Where these teams overlap is a key place where this group has a great impact on the success of the overall projects. **\#\# Agenda \#\#** Doors will be open at 5:00pm, and we'll…
