Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Join us for the Frisco Library Renaissance Faire! Prepare to step into a world of knights, minstrels, and magic at our first annual Renaissance Faire! Whether you're a noble lord, a daring rogue, or a fairy from the forest, all are welcome to join us for a day of medieval merriment. Plan to bring your friends and family for fun, learning, and hands-on history. All ages welcome and admission is free! What to Expect: Live music performances: Enjoy the sounds of the era with performances from musicians and minstrels from Cowtown Recorder Society. Combat Demonstrations: Watch warriors from the SCA Barony of the Steppes and Medieval Martial Arts clash in thrilling displays of historical fighting techniques. Blacksmith & Forge Demos: See real metalworking in action as, Shadowhawk, a skilled artisan demonstrates how tools were made. Artisan Vendors: Browse handcrafted goods available for sale. Shop for wares, tasty treats, and other treasures from local merchants. Themed Activities and Crafts: Fun for all ages! Try your hand at Renaissance-themed crafts and games throughout the day! Supplies limited for some activities. Adventure of all types: Adventurers of all ages are invited to take on challenges, meet a mermaid, witness high-flying aerial art, and so much more over the course of the day! Come in Costume!Don your finest garb and join the revelry! Don't have a costume? Never fear! Come as you are - there's still plenty of fun to be had! Keep in mind that this is a family friendly event, please abide by the following rules Costumes must be family friendly. No nudity is allowed.
