Save the Date: October 10, 2026, 6-9pm – $15/ticket Halloween is coming to life during the month of October at the Nevada State Museum, Carson City, which has something to offer visitors of all ages during the scare season. Haunting begins Saturday night, October 10, 2026 with the return of “Fright At the Museum,” a terrifying haunted house adventure deep into the blackened bowels and dark recesses of the basement beneath the former U.S. Mint building. Held from 6-9 p.m., “Fright At the Museum” tells the story of a behind-the-scenes tour into the historic basement “catacombs” that goes horrifyingly wrong! Prepare for a night of thrills, chills and “toxic spills” as skin-crawling surprises lurk around every corner, even under your feet! So, mind every step and be sure to stick close to one another, because “Fright At the Museum” is back! An encore performance of “Fright At the Museum” will take place Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 6-9 p.m. Ticket sales on both nights begin at the Museum Store sales counter at 6 p.m. Visitors can go through “Fright At the Museum” as many times as they’d like until 9 p.m. Admission is $15 per person. AGES 10 AND UP ONLY. NOT APPROPRIATE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN.
