Slide guitar player, Sonny Landreth, is from Lafayette, Louisiana. He began playing guitar when he was 12 years old and has been a member of Clifton Chenier’s music group, The Red Hot Louisiana Band, and a guest guitarist in Jimmy Buffet’s Coral Reefer Band. Landreth has held top 5 Billboard chart ratings on several of his recordings, and his album Recorded Live in Lafayette (2017) was nominated for a Grammy. His most recent album, Blacktop Run (2020), is ranked in the top 5 on Official Americana and Jazz and Blues album charts.
