The Band: David Pedersen: vocals Jeff Schmidt: guitar Randall Davis: guitar Pete Raine: bass guitar Jim Viner: drums The Lowdown: Low & Away are roots music purveyors whose sound is fresh yet familiar—acoustic, electric, and eclectic. A shared appreciation of songs and songwriters is evident in the band’s selections of cover tunes, and the group’s original material blends rock, folk, country, pop, and soul. Onstage, the Low & Away credo is clear: play good songs, play ‘em well, and keep ‘em coming.
