On the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, there will be a free movie matinee in the Library’s Community Room. The movies, all curated by Librarian Linda Reimer, are selected with adult viewers in mind. No need to sign up, just show up. This Month’s Matinee Movie will be: The Philadelphia Story, directed by George Cukor and starring Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, and James Stewart. Released in 1940, the film is unrated and runs 1h 52m. The Plot: After a rich woman’s ex-husband and a tabloid-type reporter turn up just before her planned remarriage, she begins to learn the truth about herself.
